Frequently Asked Questions
How long does treatment typically last?
Treatment duration varies by program. Medical detox generally takes 3 to 7 days. Residential treatment ranges from 30 to 90 days depending on clinical needs. Our outpatient programs run 2 to 12 weeks. Your treatment team will work with you to determine the optimal length of stay.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Tricare, Medicare, and Medi-Cal. Our admissions team will verify your coverage and explain your benefits before you arrive.
Is the detox process medically supervised?
Absolutely. Our medical detox program provides 24/7 physician and nursing supervision. We use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate to manage withdrawal symptoms safely and minimize discomfort.
Can I visit a loved one during treatment?
Yes. We encourage family involvement in the recovery process. Visitation is available on designated days and times. Family therapy sessions are also part of our programming to help repair and strengthen relationships.
What happens after I complete treatment?
Every patient receives a comprehensive aftercare plan before discharge. This may include step-down to outpatient services, referrals to sober living, ongoing therapy, 12-step meetings, and alumni support. Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition back to daily life.
Can I continue working while in outpatient treatment?
Yes. Our outpatient and intensive outpatient programs are designed with flexible scheduling, including evening sessions, so you can maintain employment, school, or family responsibilities while receiving treatment.
